Interior Designing – Ideas and Trends

Interior glass creates a very special atmosphere in homes and offices. Coloured glass used in residential homes and office interiors provides a contemporary style and creates a unique space within the interiors. Coloured glass, also called Lacquered Glass is a practical way to brighten up living rooms, interiors, offices, drawing halls and even kitchens and bathrooms.

Lacquered glass, opaque in appearance and coloured when needed is produced by depositing a highly durable and resistant lacquer to one side of the glass and then baking it. Due to the special composition of the lacquer, this variety of glass can also be used in areas like kitchens and bathrooms where humidity is high.

Coloured glass - Ideas

Lacquered glass for interiors can be used in a number of ways to impart style and substance. They can be applied in the usage of the following:

• Decorative glass as aesthetic cladding on walls and doors in restaurants, shops, offices and homes.
• On Furniture, wardrobes and cupboards
• As partition within interiors
• Decorative glass in reception areas in offices
• In bath rooms as privacy glass or shower screens
• In Kitchens as counters, cupboards and shelves.
• As Writing boards
• As panels for partitions and doors

Interior Design Glass - Range

Being visually appealing lacquered glass panels are available in radiant shades such as White, Almond Green, Ivory, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, Black, Flame Red, and Dark Green. The thickness of such glass can be 4mm, 6mm or 8mm.

Not only does coloured glass add value to interiors in terms of style, and helps achieve the desired look within but they are also easy to maintain and environment friendly. Being widely applicable and suitable for installation in any enclosed space, there are several value addition possibilities with lacquered glass. Above all installing them is hassle free.
